Sakura is our new release for March we timed it with the annual blooming of the Cherry Blossoms because its name and scent are synonyms with the flowering tree. Cherry blossoms in Japanese are known as Sakura and it would not be an exaggeration to say they are a national obsession. Different varieties of cherry blossoms bloom at different times, but most hit their peak in Tokyo from the end of March to the beginning of April. It is known that farmers used the blooming of the sakura flowers to help them know it was time to plant their rice crops. Our shaving soap gets as close as possible to the actual flower's scent. The notes are; Cherry Blossom, Muguet, Red Apple, Georgia Peach, Tamarind, and Blonde wood. This combination brings out the flower's essence and at the same time allowing the accompanying notes to also be recognized. The flowers were considered to be a representation of Spring, Hope, Beauty, and New Life. and this is what I'm wishing for all of us moving forward in these times. I hope you enjoy Sakura and make it a part of your relaxing wet shaving routine.
